Successful Enrollment in MPN Gold Competence: Virtualization and System Management

Microsoft has recently tighten the control of Microsoft Certified Partner program to maintain a better control of partner quality.  They are looking for their partners being able to deliver quality solution using Microsoft product.

Regardless of the new, tough challenges, Falcon Consulting has successfully fulfilled the new Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) Gold Competence requirements, and enrolled as new Gold Certified Partner in both Virtualization and System Management Competences.  We are also the 1st and only (up to 6th Jan 2011) Gold Virtualization Partner and the 1st and the only (​up to 6th Jan 2011) Gold System Management Partner in Hong Kong and Macau.

Speaker participation in Microsoft Tech•Days 2010 Event (21st September 2010)

TechDays 2010 - Cloud Day.pngAs you might know, Microsoft Hong Kong has employed a strategy to split up the Tech•Days multi-day event into multiple 1-day events.  The 1st in the Tech•Days 2010 series will be held on 21st September 2010, and the topic is the private and public cloud technologies.  Lawrence Tse of Falcon Consulting has been invited to deliver the following 2 sessions of that ​event:

  • Venue - Cliftons Limited, 33/F, No 9 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong.
  • 11:30am - 12:30pm - Microsoft Private Cloud Infrastructure deep dive part 1 (co-host with Daniel Lai [MSFT])
  • 2:00pm - 3:00pm - Microsoft Private Cloud Infrastructure deep dive part 2 (co-host with Daniel Lai [MSFT])

Although the online session is full, Microsoft Hong Kong has arranged online broadcasting of these session.  Please take a look here, and don't miss this chance to take a look on Microsoft's upcoming dynamic datacenter initiatives and private cloud technologies.

Falcon employee successfully recruited as Microsoft Virtual Technology Specialist (V-TSP)

Trophy gold iconCongratlation to Lawrence Tse as becoming the System Management V-TSP of Microsoft Hong Kong.

V-TSP is a new Microsoft global initiative to invite partner technical and presages elite to participate.  Selected candidates need to be interviewed for recruitment and classified into different technical competences.  Shortlisted Virtual Technology Specialists need to take the responsibility to engage customer with Microsoft corporate team to promote Microsoft products.
 

Being one of the first 4 V-TSPs in Hong Kong, Falcon will rely on Lawrence to contribute to Microsoft while we will be supporting at the back.  This also demonstrates Falcon's deep alliance with Microsoft and excellence/dedication on people quality.
